Genevia Lifesciences AG, Switzerland, announces that is at the final development stage of an advanced next-generation multivitamin for kids, 4-12 years. Having already entered the nutraceutical market with the launch of Gobi Gold Daily Balancer®, Genevia Lifesciences is growing the balancers family. Genevia identified also big gaps in the kids’ multivitamin sector as most products in this space are of questionable quality.

Taking advantage of gaps that exist in the European legislation related to nutritional declaration and labeling, the majority of kids’ products provide only a small amount of nutrients like essential Omega-3 per chew, while being high in unwanted substances like sugar. Genevia Lifesciences with the use of innovative technology managed to successfully develop a product that provides a significantly higher amount of Omega-3s in just one serving while being sugar-free, compared to traditional products in the market.

Staying loyal to the goal to develop innovative high-quality convenient solutions, Genevia Lifesciences’ next-generation product combines essential omega-3s DHA and EPA with 10 more nutrients in a preferred kids’ format with great taste and higher proven acceptability by kids.

To ensure the superior quality of their products, Genevia Lifesciences undergoes 3rd party accreditation from renowned international bodies with the highest standards in the industry, while using only sustainably sourced certified ingredients.

Marios Mesimeris, Product Developer at Genevia Lifesciences, stated: “To formulate such an effective and innovative product, we had to make extensive research on different fields; we had to combine data from recent scientific papers, nutritional databases as well as evaluate and access the specific dietary recommendations and gaps that exist in kids, 4-12 years old. Our initial suggested formulation, one like no other on the market, underwent extensive laboratory and analytical studies to succeed. We are glad to say that we managed to translate all those findings into an innovative product.”

Kids’ advanced multivitamin is planned for commercialization in Q2 2022.
